BCM was founded in 1987 by five Buckhead-area churches. Today, BCM is a cooperative ministry of 30 churches providing compassionate assistance to more than 9,000 individuals each year. BCM is a place where theological differences are put aside, and Christians join together to love and be loved.

Sponsoring and Contributing Churches play a vital role in the life of Buckhead Christian Ministry, giving financial assistance, volunteer support, food, clothing, and seasonal items such as toys at Christmas or school supplies in the fall.  BCM receives approximately 25% of its funding from these partners.
